Julie Hyatt-Wierzbicki is an attorney in Smith Haughey’s Muskegon office who represents clients in a variety of litigation and family law matters. She has represented both individuals and businesses in complex commercial, real estate, and collection matters as well as in divorce, custody, personal injury, and domestic disputes.
In her practice, Julie has counseled clients through every stage of the litigation process, including strategizing, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial, and post-judgment issues. Julie is also a certified domestic mediator and trained Lawyer Guardian Ad Litem. Julie’s diverse background has afforded her clients creative solutions to complex problems and has enabled her clients to resolve cases using the best process that fits their unique needs.
Julie is a zealous, compassionate, and thoughtful advocate for her clients, representing each with equal care and concern. She understands that litigation is foreign to many of her clients and helps to ease any anxiety by making herself available in a timely manner to answer any of their questions or concerns throughout the process.
Julie attended Aquinas College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science and international studies. She then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor.
In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, outdoor activities, and baking.
