Mary is an experienced attorney whose exclusive focus, dedication and experience are in all areas of family law and domestic relations. She offers her clients patient, thoughtful counsel coupled with steadfast advocacy to help them resolve all manner of family law related issues with the most family-friendly outcomes possible. For just over two decades, Mary has successfully represented individuals in courts across West Michigan. Additionally, Mary is a trained domestic relations mediator and a collaboratively trained lawyer. As a result, Mary is able to assist her clients in resolving their matters using the best possible process (litigation, mediation or collaborative) based on their needs and goals.
From working professionals to stay-at-home parents, Mary represents each with equal care and concern. For her clients, she provides services such as drafting prenuptial agreements, divorce, separate maintenance, property division, establishing paternity, child custody, parenting time/visitation, grandparenting time, guardian ad litem, spousal and child support and order enforcement.
Mary understands that her clients often have questions that need an immediate response. She is readily available to them via email, telephone and/or conferences to answer their questions within a timely manner. In her spare time, Mary enjoys reading, outdoor activities and spending time with her family. She lives in Newago with her husband, Steve.
