Yazan Abdolkarim is an associate lawyer and member of Smith Haughey’s medical malpractice defense group.

Yazan obtained his undergraduate degree in business and philosophy from Wayne State University and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, Yazan participated in Ohio State’s civil litigation clinic. He was also a member of the Health Law Society, Business Law Society, and Middle Eastern Law Student Association.

Yazan worked as a summer associate at Gallagher Sharp and Crabbe, Brown & James. He also externed for Judge Andy Miller at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Columbus, Ohio.

Outside the office, Yazan enjoys running, working on his car, and cheering on the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Lions, and Ohio State Buckeyes.
