Biography

Christian Pederson is an associate attorney who works across the firm’s practice groups, gaining experience in business transactions, civil litigation, and estate planning. He previously worked with Smith Haughey as a summer associate in 2022.

Christian graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. During law school, his legal writing earned brief-writing honors while participating in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition. The Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies will soon publish his work, “The Impact of the Exhaustion of Rights Doctrine on Parallel Imports and International Trade.”

In the summer of 2021, Christian was selected for the Stewart Fellows Global Internship Program and worked for a Southeast Asia firm as an intellectual property summer associate.

In his free time, Christian watches soccer and football. He thoroughly enjoys hiking with his dog, traveling, listening to live music, and snowboarding.
