Smith Haughey Welcomes Attorney Kenneth D. Seale

Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that attorney Kenneth D. Seale has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Grand Rapids office. Ken joins Smith Haughey with nearly 20 years of experience and will be practicing in the firm’s medical malpractice defense practice group.

Ken joins Smith Haughey from Chicago, where he was a partner at Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine, P.C. While in Chicago, Ken developed a specialty in defending complex medical negligence cases filed against some of the largest healthcare systems in the country. Through these cases, Ken gained substantial experience in defending doctors and hospitals in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.

Ken graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics before graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, cum laude, in 2001.
