Smith Haughey Attorney Bill Jack Selected As One Of Michigan’s Leaders in the Law 2017

Grand Rapids, Mich., March 23, 2017 — William W. Jack, CEO and shareholder with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, has been chosen for Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Leaders in the Law, Class of 2017.

The list of Leaders in the Law consists of 30 top attorneys who practice in Michigan. A large number of nominations are submitted for this list before the Michigan Lawyers Weekly staff selects the final 30 practitioners. Selections are based on the nominees’ records of legal success, community and legal achievements, as well as each nominee’s passion and activity on behalf of clients and the community. An awards luncheon is being held March 23 at the Detroit Marriott in Troy, Mich.

Throughout Bill’s 45 years practicing law, he has been involved in the litigation of many different types of cases, primarily professional liability matters. With his solid reputation as a seasoned trial attorney, devotion to the legal community, and frequent recognition for his professional accomplishments, Bill has transitioned his practice from active litigation to a successful mediation/alternative dispute resolution practice. A certified facilitative mediator by the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan, he has served as mediator and case evaluator for more than 300 cases in the state and federal courts throughout Michigan.
