Ryne is a shareholder with Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge, concentrating his practice in the defense of hospitals, nursing home and long-term care facilities, sub-acute and acute care facilities, physicians, chiropractors, dentists, orthodontists, nurses, aides, and other health care professionals. Ryne also litigates and counsels clients in the areas of business, commercial, civil and employment law. Ryne has had success at every phase of the litigation process, including trial and appeals.
Ryne graduated from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Business Studies and received his J.D. from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School, with an emphasis in litigation. In 2020, Ryne was listed as a Michigan Super Lawyer “Rising Star.”
Outside of the office, Ryne enjoys spending time with his wife, Arynn, and their three children. Ryne also enjoys playing hockey and golf, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs.
