Ryne J. Takacs



Ryne is an attorney with Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge, concentrating his practice defending hospitals, nursing home and long-term care facilities, physicians, dentists, orthodontists, nurses, aides, and other health care professionals. Ryne also litigates and counsels clients in the areas of business, commercial, civil and employment law.

Ryne graduated from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Business Studies and received his J.D. from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School, with an emphasis in litigation. Ryne has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2021 “40 & Under Hot List” and listed as a Michigan Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2020 and 2021.

Outside of the office, Ryne enjoys spending time with his wife, Arynn, and their three children. Ryne also enjoys playing hockey and golf, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs.
