Biography

Rachael Roseman is a litigator representing clients throughout the state in a variety of commercial, professional liability, and probate matters.

She has and continues to successfully represent clients both big and small, specializing in complex legal and factual disputes. She has successfully represented clients through all types of probate proceedings and litigation matters, including guardianships, conservatorships, and probate and trust litigation.

Rachael has served as a committee member for the 21st Century Practice Task Force with the State Bar of Michigan. She’s currently a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the March of Dimes Signature Chef’s Auction. Rachael is also a contributor in the ICLE publications Michigan Probate Litigation: A Guide to Contested Matters and Michigan Causes of Action Formbook.

Previously, Rachael worked as a summer associate in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office in 2013. In addition, she served as a legal intern for the Michigan Department of Human Services and worked as a law clerk in the 17th Circuit Court for Kent County.

Prior to her time at Smith Haughey, Rachael graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and went on to earn her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, Rachael was the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan State Law Review. She also worked as a teaching assistant and served on several committees and student organizations, including the Student Bar Association.
