Nick was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan. Before joining SHRR, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and worked for the Collier County Sheriff’s Office in Naples, Florida. Upon returning to Michigan, he spent over 4 years as the Clerking Bailiff to the Hon. Timothy G. Hicks of the 14th Circuit Court who presided over civil, criminal, and business court dockets.
Nick obtained his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Toledo College of Law, where he served as President of the Criminal Law Society, participated as a Legal Intern for the Immigrant Justice Clinic, and received the award of Highest Ranking Student in his Estate Planning simulation course.
Nick’s practice includes municipal, real property, business, and probate litigation.
In his free time, Nick enjoys being outside with his wife, son, and three dogs. Nick is actively involved in the Muskegon community, serving on the Trinity Health Seaway Run Planning and Operations Team and is a member of Run Muskegon.
