Kevin has years of experience in litigating commercial disputes involving contracts, construction claims, commercial leases, business torts, real estate and employment related claims. Mr. Even has handled lawsuits in a number of states and is admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts. He has successfully litigated cases in the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Kevin has handled numerous disputes relating to boundaries and adverse possession of real property and has litigated disputes relating to easements that routinely arise in commercial developments. His practice also includes claims related to condominium developments and their governance. He has also successfully resolved claims involving riparian rights and waterfront development.
Kevin has substantial experience in handling business torts including claims relating to trade defamation, unlawful competition and fraud claims raised during the course of commercial litigation.
Kevin’s clients include business owners, property owners, investors, developers, landlords, manufacturers, builders, individuals and governmental entities.
Kevin and his wife, Annette, live in Fruitland Township north of Muskegon. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two young grandchildren, biking, golfing and hunting.
