Kaley Pleva serves as the firm’s Director of Marketing & Business Development. In this role, she leads marketing and business development initiatives according to the firm’s business goals and strategic plan. Kaley helps execute priorities and commitments across practice groups, offices, and client teams. Her responsibilities include communications, branding, public relations and advertising, website management, and enhancing the firm’s visibility.

Before joining Smith Haughey, Kaley spent six years with the marketing team at Beene Garter, most recently as senior marketing manager. Her experience includes content and digital marketing, search engine optimization, and B2B campaigns. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from Grand Valley State University.

Kaley grew up in Leelanau County and now resides in Grand Rapids with her husband, Jared. She enjoys gardening, traveling, concerts, and just about anything involving Lake Michigan and summer.
