Biography

Ian graduated from Michigan State University’s James Madison College with a bachelor’s degree in political theory and constitutional democracy. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law where he served as the trial director for the Board of Advocates. In addition, he obtained trial certification from the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute.

Prior to joining SHRR, Ian gained experience working at Kent County Office of the Defender, a criminal defense firm in Okemos, and the 30th Circuit Court in Lansing.

Outside the office, Ian enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new cuisines, and playing board games
