Christian Leeka is an attorney in Smith Haughey’s business and real estate group. He helps both corporate and individual clients through: real estate purchases, sales, leasing, and all stages of development; mergers and acquisitions; commercial contracts and transactions; for-profit and nonprofit entity formation, planning, and governance; and business succession planning – especially closely held family businesses.
He has a particular interest in advising in matters involving survey analysis, chain of title evaluation, and zoning compliance. Christian’s clients include individuals, business owners, property owners, investors, developers, property managers, landlords, homeowners’ associations, condominium associations, manufacturers, and builders. He works closely with clients to design, draft, negotiate, and execute documents and transactions.
Christian graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in history and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. While in law school, Christian served on the Student Board of Governors and was a member of Wayne Law’s Mock Trial Team.
When not in the office, Christian enjoys playing basketball, golf, and pickleball, spending time and traveling with his family, and enjoying Lake Michigan.
