Michigan Lawyers Weekly has named A. Tony Taweel to its 2022 Go To Lawyers list for medical malpractice law. This is a distinct recognition – only 20 attorneys made Michigan’s Go To Lawyers list for representing plaintiffs or defendants in medical malpractice cases.

About the Go To Lawyers Program

This is the third year of the Go To Lawyers program. First, lawyers are nominated by their peers. Then, Michigan Lawyers Weekly evaluates, identifies, and recognizes top lawyers who meet the following criteria:

  • They’re experts in their field and well-versed in the nuances of the case law, statutes, and regulations that clients will encounter.
  • They have a record of success, with many cases that give testimony to the quality advice they can provide.
  • Other lawyers refer work to them because of their expertise and accomplishments.
  • They think creatively and identify all options for clients.

In addition to medical malpractice law, the Go To Lawyers program identifies top lawyers in real estate and condo law, business law, employment law, and intellectual property law. This is the second year in a row that a Smith Haughey attorney has made the Go To Lawyers program for medical malpractice.

Congratulations on your achievement, Tony!
