Smith Haughey Welcomes Attorney Angela Kaku to Muskegon Office

Grand Rapids, Mich., November 21, 2016 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that Angela Kaku has joined the firm’s Muskegon office as an associate attorney.

Angela is no stranger to Smith Haughey, as she previously worked as a paralegal and law clerk in the firm’s Grand Rapids office before passing the bar exam and joining as an attorney. Angela will be working within Smith Haughey’s litigation and transactional practice groups.

Angela graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in political science and went on to earn her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. She has over a decade of experience in the law field, working as a paralegal and legal clerk for the past ten years.

Additionally, Angela is an active member of the community, frequently volunteering with the Women’s Resource Center in Grand Rapids, where she teaches computer training courses to women seeking the skills to compete in today’s workforce.
