Grand Rapids, Mich., January 14, 2016 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce the election of William W. Jack Jr. as CEO, in addition to new shareholder, Aubri N. Sheremet.
Bill Jack is a shareholder in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapid’s office, previously serving as the firm’s CEO as well as the President of the Board of Directors. He has been with the firm since 1975, practicing health law, medical malpractice defense, general litigation, and the defense of professional liability actions. In the past 10 years, Bill has transitioned his practice and built a highly successful mediation/alternative dispute resolution practice on his solid reputation as a seasoned trial attorney and devotion to the legal community. In addition, he is very active in the community, having held a number of elected positions and memberships in legal and community organizations.
Aubri Sheremet is also an attorney in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office. She is a medical malpractice trial attorney who defends healthcare facilities and healthcare professionals against claims of malpractice in courts throughout Michigan and handles professional licensing issues.
