Grand Rapids, Mich., November 5, 2012 — Matthew L. Wikander, an attorney and shareholder with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, has been named a 2012 “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
From many nominations, the Michigan Lawyers Weekly panel selects only 20 lawyers to hold this title annually. Selections are made by considering noteworthy cases, unique practice areas, and community and/or bar association efforts. Selected lawyers practice in a variety of areas.
According to Michigan Lawyers Weekly, “Chosen from dozens of nominations, these honorees have spent less than a decade in practice, but display the ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments to set them apart among their peers.”

He has trial and litigation experience in both federal and state courts across the state of Michigan.
