Tiffany focuses her practice on counseling and defending health care providers in matters involving medical malpractice defense, risk management, and other unique issues confronting the health care industry. Her guidance is based on her extensive litigation experience and strong grasp of complex medical issues. She has represented hospitals, doctors, nurses and other health care providers throughout the state in pre-suit negotiations and during litigation.
In addition to her medical malpractice experience, Tiffany is also experienced in counseling and defending employers on claims arising from workplace injuries and a variety of employment law issues. She has a proven track record of success and has obtained dismissal of multiple claims through her successful motions practice.
Tiffany graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College before attending West Virginia University College of Law, where she was the recipient of several CALI Awards, given to the highest scoring student in each class. Among those awards was an award for her work in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Law Clinic, in which she served as a student attorney and provided pro bono legal assistance to business owners seeking advice on a variety of business formation, employment law, and intellectual property issues. During her time at West Virginia University, she was also a research assistant to the Dean of the College of Law and President of the Real Estate Law Society. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David R. Janes of Marion County Circuit Court in Fairmont, West Virginia, where she gained invaluable experience and insight to courtroom procedures.
Tiffany lives in Spring Lake with her husband, Vance, and their two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, and boating.
