Biography

Angela earned her J.D. from Western Michigan University (WMU) Cooley Law School. During her time at WMU she was class representative for the Student Bar Association and also a chairman for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She has considerable experience in the law field, working as a law clerk and paralegal for the past ten years. Angela is no stranger to Smith Haughey, previously holding the law clerk position in the Grand Rapids office.

Angela specializes in transactional and litigation work. She earned her BS in Political Science from Grand Valley State University, offering her a unique perspective on a variety of industries.

In addition, Angie is an active member of the community and frequently volunteers with the Women’s Resource Center in Grand Rapids. There she teaches computer training courses to women seeking the skills to compete in today’s workforce.

In her free time, Angie enjoys Adventure Racing, biking and golfing.
