Growing Home: Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge partners with Even & Franks

Even & Franks, PLLC has been serving Muskegon and the Michigan Lakeshore communities since 1994, dedicated to serving clients’ interests and goals in a timely, ethical manner. The firm employs a team approach to all cases, assigning one primary attorney and utilizing the expertise of other attorneys as required for each unique case. As of October 1, Even & Franks has some extra help from Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge

“We have spent a lot of careful time in both directions studying. What we found out is that these fellows are top-notch lawyers with excellent reputations as practitioners. They have a very impressive client list capped by major businesses in Muskegon and have the highest reputation for ethics. They are good businessmen who are concerned about the community, which is very attractive to us, and they share our work ethic and collegiality. We were very fortunate to find them.”
Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge attorney, Pat Geary, isn’t the only person excited to join forces with Even & Franks. Both firms have expressed great anticipation in combining talents, clients and passions to engage the greater Muskegon community. Although no solid plans have been established, both firms hope to invest in the successes of Muskegon’s economic revitalization through local businesses and nonprofits.
“We know that Muskegon’s best days are in front of it, not behind it,” stated Muskegon native and Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge attorney, Matt Wikander. “We are excited to be involved earlier than after it has been overexposed.”
Currently, both firms have been working tirelessly for a seamless partnership transition. Smith Haughey is hopeful that Even & Franks clients and the greater Muskegon community will welcome their large firm with open arms to help grow a successful, productive office. An open house to celebrate the partnership is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the West Michigan Symphony building (360 W. Western Avenue) in Muskegon.
